Mongooses Amazing Facts

Mongoose emits a high pitched sound, known as 'giggles' as a sign of mating. 

Although mongooses live in burrows, rarely dig holes for themselves. By contrast, only move in burrows left by other animals.

Mongooses use an alarm call to warn others of any larger carnivores. As soon as the mongooses hear the others call, they rush to the nearest hole.
